Our Mandate

We create transformational learning experiences through design and collaboration.

Mumkin (pronounced mooom-kin) means “What’s Possible?” We’re a design studio dedicated to the idea that every person is a possibility. We know that education, both in and out of schools, can transform communities. Combining tools from design thinking and strategies from learning science, we create learning programs, products, and services with a clear impact. Learn more about our design services HERE.

Team

We are creators, possibility makers, design-based researchers, and experts in the art of play. Our core team brings together over 30 years of experience in teaching and curriculum, youth development, and digital product design.

Eve Tulbert

Learning Experience Designer

Eve is a career education program innovator. She merges experiences in creative curriculum design, action research, and branding and content strategy to develop new and engaging programs. Eve has worked on diverse topics in teacher professional learning, positive youth development, and workforce development.

 

She is an experienced teacher, facilitator, and asset-based community development practitioner; she has worked with schools districts and organizations across the country and around the world.

 

Eve holds an MFA in Arts Integration (UT Austin), a MA in Qualitative Research (UCLA) and is currently completing a doctoral degree in STEM education (University of Rochester).

Ala' Diab

Interactive Producer

Ala’ is a multidisciplinary designer who loves to apply his diverse capacities to learning-focused projects and products. Ala’ is skilled in game design, exhibit design, architecture, UI/UX, brand building, music composition, and video and motion graphics production.

 

Ala’ has worked on both digital and analogue games to create compelling user experiences and inspiring graphic design (Dialogo!, Walden, Future Bound, among others). He also crafts engaging exhibit experiences that incorporate interactive media and artful installations (Chicago History Museum, Al-Salt Museum, Jordan). 

 

Ala’ holds an MFA in Interactive Media from USC, and a BFA in Architecture from the University of Amman, Jordan.

Radha Ramachandran

STEM Programs Specialist

Radha is a scientist, science communicator, and innovative STEM program leader. Radha has spearheaded the creation of programs that bring cutting-edge research to public school students, expanding the “broader impacts” of multiple NSF-funded research centers.

 

As a curriculum designer, Radha has worked on wide ranging topics--from climate and energy modeling to materials science research. Radha has also led efforts to create learning content and student engagement strategies for ed-tech companies in India and the United States. Radha holds a PhD in physics from the University of Chicago, and a Masters in Engineering from IIT Madras.
